I am interested in learning more about the family of Levi Peacock, Jr. (1786 SC - ca 1850 MS) who married second to Mary (maiden name unknown) Lee, widow of Stephen Lee.
My husband is connected through Mary and her first husband's daughter, Lincy Jane Lee, who married Joshua Sandifer.
Does anyone know who Levi's first wife was and how many children he had?
I will gladly share what information I have on him. Thanks!

My ancestor was from the Peacock family. She was Anna Sophia Vanlandingham, granddaughter of Sophia Peacock (SP was b 1792 in NC daughter of Uriah and Susan, married Jethro Dean there, and after they had quite a few kids they moved to GA where she died in Wilkinson Co GA in 1869).

In the 1850's Anna Sophia - with her husband Jesse Lord and one child - moved from Wilkinson Co GA to the SE corner of Arknsas (Drew Co).

In later censuses in Drew Co ARK we see the name Peacock appearing, and I am wondering if there were Peacock relatives that moved to ARK at the same time, in the mid-1850s. It would make far more sense than just Jesse and Anna taking off alone. An alternate possibility would be that once they got to Arkansas the Peacocks followed later.

So has anyone determined in their Peacock family research when Peacocks first moved to Drew Co ARK from GA (most likely) or perhaps from NC/SC? Any help will be much appreciated.
